Nothing beats the beauty of mother nature ❤️
Chuanyan Nineteen peaks is located in Xinchang County. It is a famous place for hiking for the scenic view is beyond compare. Once you arrived at the peak, you will see the beauty of nature. It is so empowering that you will forget everything. You will feel peace and a sense of accomplishment. It was one of my most unforgettable experience and I still wanna go back.
It was during Chinese National Holiday which is in October when my friend and I went there. We joined a group tour from the popular travel agency for expats named OK Deal.
So if you are in Shanghai you can visit there page in wechat.
This is a Danxia landform, with continuous mountain ranges, plateaus, and meandering rivers and streams, as well as peculiar peaks and strange rocks, secluded valleys, and caves.
Standing on the mountaintop, you can enjoy a panoramic view of the green mountains and waters.
🌟Little Train
Outside the entrance of the scenic area, you can take a free bus to the main gate of the scenic area, or you can take a small train at your own expense. The small train track is 5.6km long, running from the visitor center to the main gate of the scenic area, slowly shuttling through the mountains and forests, which is also a unique experience.
🌟Flying Dragon Plank Road
To climb the Flying Dragon Plank Road, you need to purchase an additional ticket (20 yuan), and climb up 999 steps in one go. The subsequent path is mainly flat. Most tourists will choose this route, as the scenery is better, it's not difficult to climb, and it includes a glass walkway and a rope bridge.
🌟Slide:
At the end of the descent, there is a slide, which is the favorite of children, a bit thrilling, and quickly takes you down to the foot of the mountain.
👍Xiayan Beicun Village:
After enjoying the Nineteen Peaks, we went directly to the most beautiful village, Xiayan Beicun Village, surrounded by mountain roads with beautiful scenery. There are many viewing platforms in the village, coffee shops, and great places for taking photos and checking in. You can have a distant view of the Nineteen Peaks.

Exploring the Nineteen Peaks without Driving
•
You can enjoy the Nineteen Peaks like this without driving
This Labor Day holiday, visiting the Nineteen Peaks in Xinchang was a complete success, perfectly avoiding the crowds. Despite the light rain, it added a unique charm to the lush greenery of the mountains. Staying near the Wanda Plaza in Xinchang, my friends and I didn't rent a car or drive, yet we still had an easy and joyful experience at the Nineteen Peaks. Here's our happy itinerary, haha! (Taking the mini train to the East Gate + Flying Dragon Plank Walk route)
1. In the morning, a 24-minute Didi ride took us to the Nineteen Peaks mini train tourist center (the hall is so big that from the outside it looked deserted) where tickets are 30 yuan per person, free with a blood donation certificate.
2. The mini train takes about 20 minutes to reach Hubaba Station (which is Qianzhang Valley Station). The train moves slowly, offering beautiful scenery along the way, and we took photos non-stop on the train. We passed several flower walls, with the red flowers reflecting beautifully on the train windows!
3. After the train arrives at the station, walk about 500m to reach the East Gate entrance of the scenic area, where we scanned our tickets to enter.
3. Once inside the scenic area, after a short walk, you can choose to take the Flying Dragon Plank Walk or the Nineteen Peaks route. We took the Flying Dragon Plank Walk, which requires a 20 yuan ticket to go up the mountain (the 20 yuan includes the 999 steps and the glass plank walk).
4. Climbing the 999 steps in the rain felt challenging, but it might be easier on a sunny day.
5. After completing the glass plank walk and crossing the suspension bridge, we turned left and descended from Qianzhang Valley. (Turning right seems to continue uphill for a bit, and if you want to take the slide down, you should turn right here.) Qianzhang Valley has nice scenery, it's quiet with fewer people, and although there are forks in the path, they eventually converge again.
6. After exiting the East Gate, we took a sightseeing bus (5 yuan/person) to the transfer shuttle bus stop, which is free. However, we waited a long time for the shuttle bus, as the staff said it was because there were fewer people today.
7. The shuttle bus took us to a place where we could catch a public bus (actually near the mini train's starting station at the tourist center).
8. We didn't wait for the bus and immediately called a Didi to return to the city! (Surprisingly, it was very easy to hail a Didi, and we got one right away.)
A satisfying trip to the Nineteen Peaks in Xinchang, enjoyable and easy without driving!!
The total cost of transportation within the scenic area (30 yuan for the mini train + 60 yuan for the Nineteen Peaks ticket + 20 yuan for the Flying Dragon Plank Walk + 5 yuan for the sightseeing bus)

The Moments are going crazy, not in Guilin! I'm at the Shaoxing Nineteen Peaks
Wandering through the Nineteen Peaks feels like a steal, experiencing three different places in one. The protruding peaks and the emerald Hanfei River make it seem like you've arrived in Guilin, while the glass walkway connecting the peaks is reminiscent of Zhangjiajie, and the hiking trail close to the Hanfei River feels like the Libo Xiaoqikong in Guizhou. Friends bombarded with likes thought I went to a place far from Shanghai, but this place is just less than a 3-hour drive from Shanghai in Xinchang, Shaoxing.
Do not miss the photo check-in spots to share:
1. Xiayanbei Village, this is the best place to overlook the Nineteen Peaks. There are many homestays here, suitable for arriving in the afternoon and finding a cafe to sit quietly and wait for the sunset
2. Nineteen Peaks Qianzhang Valley, there are often activities held on the large lawn here, and it's a nice place to look up at the Nineteen Peaks from below. The nearby tea garden is also a great spot for taking photos
3. Nineteen Peaks Walkway, the 999 steps offer atmospheric shots around every corner
Itinerary sharing:
Day1: Depart from Shanghai, arrive at Xiayanbei Village, hike down the mountain to Qianzhang Valley (a mature hiking trail with few people and diverse scenery)
Day2: Climb the 999 steps within the Nineteen Peaks scenic area, walk the glass walkway, and you can also try sliding down the mountain, which is safe and fun
Others:
If you have a sufficient budget, consider the Xinchang Anlan near the scenic area. The hotel's elevator goes directly to the mountain top, which is quite interesting. If you're not staying, you can also enter the hotel by booking afternoon tea

I must admit that I underestimated the treasure that is the small city of Xinchang
Seize the tail end of summer and delve deep into the countryside of Shaoxing Xinchang, getting lost in the overlapping shades of green 🍃 and intoxicated by nature.
Stroll around Xinchang, where the landscape of mountains and rivers is enticing and refreshing.
Grab your travel guide and set off on a self-drive adventure 🌟.
Are you ready to embrace the scenery that you'll encounter on this journey with open arms?

✅ Meizhu Ancient Village
The ancient village is not large; it can be explored in half an hour, and there are many details of ancient Ming and Qing buildings in the village. At the same time, a lot of effort has been put into rural beautification, and I must praise the stir-fried rice cakes in the village for being delicious.
✅ Nineteen Peaks
A classic filming location for various martial arts dramas, known as the 'Zhedong Zhangjiajie', yet it remains understated. The Danxia landform creates stunning scenery. From the Feilong plank road, you can climb all the way to the mountain top. The steep and rugged path offers great climbing fun, and from the Feilong Sky Bridge, you can overlook the entire Qianzhang Gully.
In the evening, there is also a fantasy show based on the 'Classic of Mountains and Seas', which is worth seeing.
.
🏨 Accommodation Strategy
We stayed at the Zunlan Mountain Residence, located at the top of Tashan Mountain in Xinchang. The hotel is considered very good in terms of the Xinchang environment, with a whole tea mountain behind the lobby, which is very pleasing to the eye.
.
🍜 Food Strategy
✅ Xinchang stir-fried rice cakes ✅ Zha noodles ✅ Soup dumplings ✅ Taro dumplings, especially the stir-fried rice cakes that can be found everywhere on the roadside are delicious.
.
🚗 Transportation
The high-speed train from Hangzhou to Xinchang only takes 1 hour, which is very convenient.

Shaoxing Xinchang | A seriously underrated treasure of a small city~
I really love Shaoxing Xinchang so much, I hope it can become popular, but I don't want it to become too popular🔥, because it's niche and not crowded, making every visit a great experience!
/
This is my third visit here, and each time there's a different experience. I first got to know it because of the cloud-wrapped mountain village on the high mountain—Xia Yanbei Village Xia Yanbei Village, the second time I came here was to go to the Shaoxing Xinchang Anlan Hotel where I spent a wonderful Christmas🎄 last year, a very beautiful holiday experience! This time, we went to the Antiman Homestay at the foot of the Nineteen Peaks Scenic Area, a comprehensive resort that combines aesthetic space, accommodation, and dining.

Here is a brief guide to the 【Nineteen Peaks Scenic Area】 Nineteen Peaks:
🕐Recommended duration of visit: about half a day
🗺️General route reference: Feilong Plank Walkway (additional charge)——Glass Plank Walkway——Feilong Suspension Bridge——Qianzhang You Valley——Feilong Cableway (additional charge, you can also walk down the mountain)
The scenic area is not very large, suitable for children and the elderly. Climbing up the mountain on the Feilong Plank Walkway, and incidentally hitting the 999 steps, is quite shocking, but the elderly and children need to pay attention to safety. My two kids were very motivated by such a targeted mountain top and climbed it in no time. Then the long flat road on the mountain began, the road is easy to walk, enjoying the beautiful scenery, breathing fresh air, it's really super healing!
ps: There is an observation deck on the glass plank walkway, which is quite photogenic, but it's also really scary, I can't dare to look down!
The Feilong Suspension Bridge is more stable than imagined, not too shaky, passed smoothly! ✌️
/
Little Tips: The slope of the Feilong Plank Walkway is very steep, especially the wooden steps in the first half are slippery, the elderly and children must pay attention to safety⚠️
/
The entrance to the scenic area also has a super large lawn + tea garden + climbing area + coffee shop☕️... When you're tired, just rest here, looking at the mountains and breathing oxygen is so comfortable!

Jiangsu and Zhejiang's outdoor paradise, the cliffside ancient village surrounded by nineteen mountains, is breathtakingly beautiful!
🌄Looking for a place with few people and beautiful scenery for the holidays? Shaoxing Xinchang's Chuan Yan Nineteen Peaks is the right choice! It's so beautiful that even travel bloggers struggle to describe it! I went there myself, saw the misty village on the cliffs, heard the babbling streams of Hanfei River in the valley, it's truly a gift from nature! 💖
🏨Moreover, there's a low-key luxurious resort hidden here—Xinchang Anlan Hotel! Nestled in the valley of the Nineteen Peaks, the scenery is top-notch! 🌲🏞️ I stayed in the Linjiang Residence, and as soon as I opened the door, I could hear the sound of the Hanfei River, it was like living in a painting!
🚌Transportation is also very convenient, you can take a bus or drive yourself. The hotel also has a shuttle service, making travel super convenient! 🚗
🏊♂️The hotel's facilities are great too, with a swimming pool, outdoor activities, and more. In the morning, you can also enjoy a rich buffet breakfast at the 'Tingtao Pavilion', it's simply the perfect choice for a vacation! 🍴
🚶♀️If you're a hiking enthusiast, there are two hiking trails to choose from. Along the way, you can enjoy the rolling clouds at the coffee shop, the quaint villages, and the beautiful natural scenery, it's really killing two birds with one stone! 🌄
🌺Overall, Xinchang Chuan Yan Nineteen Peaks is a very suitable place for vacation and hiking, and I will come back again! 💖

Xinchang's Shiyun Nineteen Peaks
After visiting the Xinchang Dafo Temple, I went to the nearby Shiyun Nineteen Peaks. I guess there are nineteen peaks? The scenery is indeed nice, and if you're physically fit, you can climb the mountains, which requires a fee of twenty yuan. Alternatively, walking in the mountain stream is also a good choice.

Shanghai Surroundings|Go to Xinchang for the New Year
On the morning of the second day of the New Year, I followed a group of 24 people on a two-day tour to Xinchang.
The itinerary is as follows:
On the first day, we hiked in the Xiayanbei Village of Shijiu Peak, about 3KM in total.
In the evening, we set off fireworks to make up for the incomplete childhood of city children.
On the second day, we hiked the Anshan Ancient Trail, about 5.5KM in total, and in the afternoon, we experienced the process of making corn cakes and glutinous rice cakes in Waipokeng Village.
Last National Day, I was stuck on this route to the point of madness. I thought I would encounter the same situation this time, but I did encounter some traffic jams. There were more than one car accidents on the highway in Shaoxing section, which caused more than an hour of congestion. In the scenic area, because the small cars filled the mountain village parking lot, it was difficult for the tourist bus to drive.
But overall, it should be much better than the large flow of tourists in the next few days, and the sky is very beautiful, no rain, big sun, high temperature, with the feeling of early spring, very suitable for going out.
Xiayanbei Village, I personally think there is not much special.
The Anshan Ancient Trail is very suitable for hiking beginners. It is said that this is really the last year, and it will not be open to build a reservoir soon.
Waipokeng has more projects to receive tour groups, some restaurants do not accept individual customers, suitable for a visit.
Overall, Xinchang is still worth a visit, and there are many and scattered attractions, suitable for self-driving tours, not suitable for group tours.

Chuanyan Nineteen Peaks: A less-known spot for check-in, a good place for hiking and mountain climbing!
Chuanyan Nineteen Peaks is located in the southwest of Xinchang County, Zhejiang Province, and is a comprehensive scenic spot with mountains, secluded valleys, caves, green shades, waterfalls, streams, bridges, running water, and ancient towns as the main themes.
The nineteen peaks in the scenic area are connected to each other, with different shapes, which are breathtaking. In the deep secluded valley, the mountain streams are gurgling, the trees are shaded, the air is fresh, and it seems to be in a paradise.
Taitou Mountain is the highest peak of Chuanyan Nineteen Peaks. When you climb to the top of the mountain, you can overlook the beautiful scenery of the entire scenic area. The Boot is a peculiar cave with various strange-shaped stones inside, which has a unique flavor. Jingling Ancient Town is a well-preserved ancient town from the Ming and Qing Dynasties, where you can feel the rich historical and cultural atmosphere. Walking here is like traveling through time and space, returning to ancient times.
Chuanyan Nineteen Peaks Scenic Spot is an excellent tourist spot integrating landscape, culture, and history.

Such a fairy place is hidden in Xinchang, Zhejiang
⛰️: Shaoxing Xinchang, Nineteen Peaks Scenic Area
🚘Navigate to: Nineteen Peaks East Gate, park the car, and walk straight in is the East Gate ticket office, both entry and exit are this door. Very convenient.
🎫Scenic area gate ticket: 60 yuan for adults. Remember to buy tickets one day in advance on major platforms, you can save a few yuan.
⛰️After entering the scenic area, walk in the direction of the right hand, see the Feilong Plank Road ticket office, that's right. Here you also need to buy a 20 yuan/person ticket, including: Feilong Plank Road + Glass Plank Road + Feilong Sky Bridge. Look up to see the high stairs, there are 999 steps, let's start!
⛰️The 999-step staircase is actually quite fast and not tiring to walk. But the scary road is behind... so long... it feels like all the peaks of the Nineteen Peaks are connected... and the downhill road, the legs are shaking when going down the stone steps..1 step-999 steps, 15 minutes 999 steps-glass plank road, 25 minutes glass plank road-Feilong Sky Bridge, 20 minutes Feilong Sky Bridge-mountain top snack bar, 20 minutes
Mountain top snack bar-downhill slide, 30 minutes
⛰️Slide, a bit pit! Because this position is almost at the foot of the mountain...60 yuan for adults, 30 yuan for children under 1.2 meters. The speed is quite fast, exciting, very cool. I always thought this would slide down from the mountain, but I didn't expect to keep walking and walking, until I reached the foot of the mountain, and finally saw the slide ticket office...
